Contact: aquachan (at) shaw.ca, neomail About: A neo-player since November of 2000, I've always had a thing for dragons and reptiles. In fact, my first pet was a scorchio (now recreated as a lupe by some random person :P). I wasn't always that involved in the game though.. In fact, I actually quit for about half a year, shortly after joining. However, someone offline got me reinterested, and I got heavily involved this time. Lucky for me it was a bit before Draiks came along. I remember Meridell being discovered, and the instant I saw the draik I fell in love with it, "Such a cute mischevous looking dragon!" Of course, the obvious problem was getting one; they were still coming in waves, but infrequently.. I ended up sitting on the top neopet's page one morning, waiting to see if more would appear to be made. All of a sudden, I saw it shoot up a thousand, and rushed to the create-a-pet page. There I created two draiks. Yukaeko for myself, and CrispyDraik for my sister-in-law (who wasn't that good at 2 second names). Yuka became my favorite and I made many a picture of his blue self, though not to long later I made him starry. He was my only one for about a year, but as you can see I didn't stop there. XD _Leviathana_ was the result of a fire draik potion a year later, and may be the first maraquan draik (I nearly sold the brush, but the draik came out just in time). Ryenorth was semi-spontaneous, and the result of trading a won mutant korbat plushie for a purple draik potion. I got CrispyDraik later on when I asked my sister-in-law if I could have her, as she quit Neo. Then Morithias came about just before the draik avatars (lucky me), after coming up with a really cool draik idea. That's probably it for the draiks though, unless someone asks me to take theirs or something. XD How did I stumble upon the DC? I had gotten into making adoptables, draik ones, when Ozzy contacted me asking if I wanted to join (and requested a custom, hehe). I'd noticed the DC before, but at first it came across as elitist because of the Draik-only thing. But she seemed nice so I gave joining a shot, and found it was a nice community. I've been here ever since.. Through many of its iterations.
