Nickname: Chesh Birthdate: April 10, 1984 Username: Chesh Draiks: Dedo_Lesprit, Vallaham Position: Sage Duties: Retired Contact: Neomail, Private Message, or AIM (Chesheh) About: A recent UoF grad and an all around Theatre nerd (note: enough of a nerd to spell it 'theatre' and not 'theater' in most cases). Beyond that, my second love is art and put almost as much care into that as I do into my script analysis. Almost. I like cats, I want a dog, but I own a hamster and probably will continue owning rodents for most of my life. More recently I've become obsessed with the series "Doctor Who" and so that's usually what I'm doing on Saturday or Sunday nights. Anyways, that's all silly facts about me, onto the more pertinent stuff! I first stumbled across Neopets back around the the time that Tamagotchis and Nano Pets were in high demand. Not wanting to waste money on a key chain, I decided to go looking for a free, internet knock off that would amuse me for awhile. I immediately stumbled across Neopets and got sucked in right away, taking short hiatuses here and there but for the most part staying active. Along that same vein, I first stumbled across the Draik Clan my freshman year of college (2002 if you must know). I remember taking a break the previous summer and consequently missing the debut of draiks on the site. When I came back I decided to save up for either that or a krawk and after polling a couple of friends the unanimous vote was "get a dragon; alligators are lame." So I started snooping around the BC and stumbled across an entrant that I particularly liked. I decided to visit their pet page. I read through it and near the bottom I found a link to the DC, so I went to visit. I then started stalking the forums (I didn't have a draik yet) and waiting until I had enough for my potion. Out of this came the first incarnation of Dedo, and he's been my main draik ever since (I just can't seem to get rid of him). About two years after I joined, I would be approached by Ozz about a promotion as a mod; an opportunity which I pounced on of course. Only with this latest version of the Clan have I been promoted once again to admin. As for my draiks; currently there are only the two: Dedo and Val (see above for their full names) and I somehow doubt there will be more as real life slowly starts to seep into my neopoint earning time. That's the bulk of it; I'm easy enough to get ahold of if you need me or just want to chat. I've been told in the past that I can be intimidating, but I sincerely hope to smite that opinion; I don't bite... though I do on occassion make "OOOGA BOOGA BOOGA!" faces which I suppose can be kind of frightening.
