I am of the year of the rat, at the age of 21 and have my birthday a week before Christmas. I am a Cali girl and started playing neopets December 9, 2001 do to the fact my best friend had started playing the game and siad I had to join. I then fell it love with the site and haven't stopped playing since except for a few pauses here and there as life took over. My first draik was Star, and if it wasn't for him I doubt that I would ever be here now as a member of the clan. I was gone (in Japan) during the summer that draiks were released but when I returned I saw them and fell in love. I too am a lover of the dragon and had to have one. But me? Save up 150K to buy a morphing potion? I could never do that! I was a silly poor not that n00by newb but still n00b-poor neopian that desperately wanted a draik. Luckily, I had rich friends. One summer we played a guild game and the prize was A DRAIK MP! I never was so active in a guild before that :P it finally ended in a 3 way tie and I got a draik egg (my best friend got the MP because she had already created the pet she wanted to make into a draik). I then won another contest after that but before I hatched Star and thus won the pb that I had dreamed for my draik. The starry paint brush. Thus, Oct. 10th 2003 Star was born, though not a female like I had planned, and we joined the clan. (I still remember all the times I used to tease Star about being planned a girl) As for the clan, I had see links to the draik clan before and couldn't wait to join in. Finding a place to RP my draik and trade adoptables and stuff was just too exciting! It wasn't long atfer that I found myself earning the nps to buy another mp. Thus over time my family of draiks and dragons have grown into the big happy family we are today. :3 Last year (was it that long ago?) I was asked to be a member of the Fellowship of Aberis, a guide when it comes to Roleplaying and also having the dirty job of cleaning up after the messes the discarded RPs create when they try to hide in the darkest corners of the clan forums. Ah, it is a good thing that I have my trusty Mr. Clean, Uh oh, hmmm now where'd he go? o.0 Er hem, ok I must go find him. Until next time, *waves*
