As soon as I signed up, I "wanted to create a Dragon!!!1111". So I browsed through the Create-a-Pet and stopped on the first "Dragon" I saw, a Shoyru x) (had I made it as far as Scorchio, I probably would have gone with one of them before). Thus, I created my first pet, SimonTheDragon. I got really into Neo for a while and then just forgot about it, not logging in for about three months durring the summer of 2002 and, by the time I finally remembered it and found my way back, I was delighted to see that a new world had been released!! A Medieval world ;) I wanted two Meridellian Pets so bad that I created my second account. I bought myself a Draik egg with my first ever AG win (I had been away during the original Draik release :( So I had to fork out the money for my first one) and hatched my first Draik to love and spoil, Ainad. After that, I hatched Ainad's daughter, morphed her brother, and morphed my final Draik. Ainad was born on Christmas Eve, 2002 and, for the record/story-purposes, Drev was too. However, Drev didn't show up in Neopia until St. Patrick's Day, 2004. Aire was born on Christmas Eve 2003, and Almor followed on Christmas Eve 2004 (though he wasn't officially morphed until months later). I have to admit Draiks never held much attaction for me until I came across the DC. At first I only wanted one because "Wow! It's even more of a dragon than the Shoyru!!", I never really liked the way they looked and whatnot, but by joining the Clan and being encouraged to create a Draik of my own I was finally weaned into the species that would end up being one of my favorites x)
