Draik Collection

"These cute little dragons appeared in Neopia one day without much warning at all... its as if they came from another world..."
(Neopets, the Draik Species.)

A species recently discovered in Meridell, on the main continent of Neopia. Little of known of this rarely seen draconic creature, and even less of its past. Because of its mythological charm, it is much sought after as a pet or companion, but usually those hunting this creature fail miserably. In Neopets-terms; this species is Restricted, which means it can not be created the 'normal' (free) way. The only known ways to add this beautiful creature to your Neo family is by being extremely lucky while visiting the Pound or using your Lab Ray, or buying a Draik Egg, Morphing Potion or Transmogrification Potion. For further references, read the Book of Creation. With the recent increased gathering of Draiks on the Clan grounds, many sub-species have been spotted and registered. Because of its variety, its mysterious background (and because it is the first electronic drakon known to history), this creature has an entire Draklopedia series devoted to it.

Dragon Collection

"Here, there be Dragons!"

This very phrase was what the mapmakers of centuries past wrote at the place where their worlds ended, a warning of danger and the unknown, the point of no return. The Dragon has its claws digged deep in human history and mythology. It's 'real' existence has been most commonly denied, cast away like any other mythological beast. But as you well know, people keep seeing Dragons, namely sea-serpents, all over the world... this second Draklopedia is dedicated to the Dragon. Enjoy reading!

You will also find some of my comments throughout the encyclopedia... heck, its ridden with my opinions and point of views! Let's just say the immense job of writing this Draklopedia drove me slightly insane from time to time ^-^) Because Dragons go back even before written language, it is nearly impossible for me to complete this Draklopedia in one go.
