First of all, make sure you have an active account. ;) You'll need to be a forum member first. Register with the link at the top right of the page.. It may take a day or so before you get activated, so please be patient. Once active, you should recieve an email letting you know.

Now, you'll probably rush for the upload file button after you have access, but it won't work just yet. You'll need to create an album that the pictures will go into. In the row of links just above the categories, there will be one that says "Create/ order my albums." Click this and you'll be brought to a page with a blank list, plus buttons and a field to write in right below. You'll need a new album, so click "New". It should show "New album" in the writeable field and the list automatically, so type in the album name that you'd like in the field. You can create as many albums as you'd like. Use the up and down arrows while having an album selected to change their order if required. Once you're done, click "Apply modifications"!

Now you can upload your artwork! Click "Upload file" at the top right of the page, and you'll be given 5 upload boxes to work with. You can also upload pictures using a URL to a picture located elsewhere; you'll be able to upload 3 at a time this way. Once you've browsed and chosen your pictures(s), click on "CONTINUE". It will tell you if the upload was successful.

If it worked, you'll be next brought to a page with a preview of your picture and the ability to choose what album to place it in, a title, description, and keywords. Fill these out (or at least choose the album) and click "CONTINUE" again. You'll get a page telling of your success.

Your picture should now be up in the gallery. :D To see it, you can either go to the index, which shows the newest images, or click the DC Member Galleries link, then go to the gallery with your name on it, and then the album it's in. Tada! On the image viewing page, it allows you to edit the file info or delete. Members or you will also be able to comment and rate the image.

That's it! Not too difficult, but if you have any problems, let an admin know. Remember that there's a 1MB upload limit to your albums, so choose your pictures wisely. You can gain more space by winning a contest.
