By coming here, I assume you are more then intrigued about the Draik Clan, and would like to know if you can sign up for full membership. Fabulous! We could always use some fresh dinn... ehr... new members!

However, before you continue reading, hear our advice; if you have never heard of www.neopets.com or Draiks, or are a Neopets player but do not OWN a Draik, stop reading, because you will not be granted membership access to the Clan.. The guest forums, however, have been created with the Draikless in mind, and all are welcome to post there as long as you have read and agree to the Forum Rules.

If you DO own a Draik, please read on. Below you will find some information about being a member. What's in it for you, and what do we ask in return? Is it really worth it to become a member? Most people have their own reasons for joining, and each person sees this place in another light. If you are still in doubt, however, perhaps the following information can convince you to give membership a go. Read on, and decide for yourself.

Perks

• Access to your own Draik Account. Send other members private messages, customize your profile, and so on. And, of course, you’ll have your Draik’s name on the member list.
• Submit News, articles, images and other content to the site itself. This place is not merely built for the members, but also for a big part by the members. We highly value any contribution, and, of course, also credit members properly ;)
• Access to the Shoutbox, a fast-chat system reserved for members. Discover how addictive it can be…
• Access to the DC Oekaki. The Oekaki is an online drawing program, designed so members can comment on each other’s work directly after it has been finished. Only full DC members can sign up for the Oekaki.
• Access to the DC Gallery. Each member can apply for 1 MB of Gallery space, to be filled in as they see fit. Members as well as Guests can comment on your art and post grades. Through contests and competitions you can earn additional Gallery space!
• Access to the extensive member-only forums. New roleplay locations are unlocked, art forums are at your disposal, and there are many other forums to explore.
• Moderating powers over all Guest forums. When you become a member, you will be given the opportunity to 'defend' our lands by keeping a watchful eye on all creatures roaming at our borders.
• The opportunity to submit texts and research to the Library section. All credit will be given, and other forms of rewards are being discussed.
• The opportunity to Scout our Territory yourself and help form the locations on our World map.
• The opportunity to let your Draik create or join a Tribe.
• The opportunity to join in on our special events. More information on this will be posted in our News in due time.
• And most importantly; our protection. If you are being harassed, robbed, scammed on Neopets or anywhere else, there will always be people here to help you out. We are first and foremost a community, standing united against the outside world.

Obligations

• When you sign up, you agree to abide by our Terms of Service, and acknowledge that we can change the Terms without notice whenever we think it is necessary. (We will generally inform the Clan via Global Sticky and News item if there is any change to major policies.)
• You have to keep your Draik a Draik. Morph it, lose it in the pound, zap it, or get it frozen, and your membership can be lost. If you do not notify an Admin of your situation and ask for some time to solve the situation, your account will be disabled within a month.
• You always have to keep to the rules and guidelines we set for you. Most are all about how to treat fellow members and guests, but each section of the site has its own specific alterations. Please refer to the Koroth Caverns for more specifics. (Each forum also has a topic explaining the rules) Breaking of rules specified in the Koroth Caverns section can lead to Banishment and/or Blacklisting for various periods of time. However, we will always judge fairly, give everybody their say, and banishments can be fought.
• All posts on this website are the property of their owners/posters. If you are interested in using art or text, you HAVE to ask permission first from the one who created the image or story.

An important, final note; You do not have to be active in the forums or have to submit things (like texts, images, items, neopoints, etc.) to keep your account. Once you are a member, you remain a member, except when you ask us to remove you from the member list or when you severely break our rules. We will never demand any form of payment or 'donation' from you in exchange for membership, nor will there any be any ads on this site you have to click in order to proceed. Also, the email address you use during registration will never be given out to third parties; membership will never end up in you getting spam
