An Oekaki is an online drawing board, where members can draw, record their progress, and post/receive comments from any compatible computer in the world. Only full Clan members can sign up, and if you did not go through our application process yet, please read
this page carefully.
Because the Oekaki isn't integrated into the Forum, members need to apply for it (and login to it) seperately.
To sign up for the Oekaki, please make sure you:
- Already are a Draik Clan member
- Sign up with your Draik name (please chose your most active account; if you have multiple Draiks, remember, only ONE oekaki account is necessary)
- mark your Draik's petlookup with DC oekaki + date of registry, so we can verify its you who signed up, and not some poser who plucked your name from the Memberlist.
Read the rules below carefully and abide by them when using the Oekaki. Do not hotlink to images on those pages; the server is protected to prevent such a thing.
The Oekaki is Monitored by all Elders/Admins, and one White Guard (Aqua). Contact them if you have questions or complaints that cannot be answered in the Forums.
Basic Oekaki Rules
- You can draw anything you want (even though we love Draiks/Dragons, ofcourse), in any way, color or style you want to. Just make sure you put some effort in your art; if you want to practice and experiment with the Oekaki by testing each option randomly, please do not save/upload your sheet of scribbles when you are done.
- Drawings that took 15 minutes and below, are extremely sloppily drawn or colored, will be removed by the admins, unless you specifically mention it is not finished yet, either in your text or by putting the mark S.S. (safety save) on the image itself.
- An unfinished image will be removed when an Admin determines the artist has been unactive too long.
- General advice: Spend time and effort on your art, color within the lines, and 'clean up' your art when you think you're done.
- When you think your image might be a bit more bloody or 'adult' then the average art you see here, toggle the Adult option.
- Art and design theft is a capital crime in our books. To check our rules and punishments on this subject, click here.
- While fellow artists appreciate any comments and critisism you give, any flaming or harrassing will not be tolerated. Such posts are removed by the Admins, and the poster will receive a penalty in postcountreduction/negative karma OR Banishment from the Clan, depending on each situation. Basically, comments are treated the same as Forum posts, and the same rules apply.
